Meet the Lyte Team

Sparking a new era in Physical AI

We are a team of engineers and domain experts working across sensing, silicon, and Physical AI. Founded by leaders from PrimeSense and Apple, our work builds on decades of experience bringing advanced perception technologies from research into real-world deployment.

We believe the next era of robotics depends on reliable understanding of the physical world. Robots must operate safely in complex, dynamic environments—not just in controlled settings.

Lyte was founded to bridge this gap. We unified sensing hardware, custom silicon, and perception software into a single platform—purpose-built to give autonomous machines the clarity and reliability they need to operate in the real world.

Meet the Founders

The team that brought 3D sensing to billions is now building perception for intelligent machines.

Our Operating Principles

The principles that drive every decision we make—from architecture to deployment.

Full Stack Ownership

We do not rely on black boxes. By controlling every layer of our stack, from silicon architecture to perception algorithms, we eliminate compromises in performance and reliability. Co-designing hardware and software ensures our systems don't just work better; they work correctly.

Uncompromising Safety

Safety is our license to operate. We architect functional safety into the foundation rather than bolting it on as an afterthought. Our systems are built for critical environments where failure is unacceptable, delivering perception you can trust near humans, every single time.

Deployment Over Demos

We are ruthlessly focused on production reality. While others optimize for the lab, we engineer for the edge cases, rain, vibration, and interference. We measure success by products shipped and problems solved in the messy real world, not by controlled benchmarks.

Customer-Centric Innovation

The most robust solutions are born from deep partnership. We actively listen to deployment challenges and iterate with velocity, co-creating perception systems that solve genuine customer problems rather than pursuing technology for its own sake.
